# of Futures - rounding question

Question:

if the question is asking us to calculate the number of futures, and the result is 12.6, should we round it up to 13? And what’s the right answer if the result we calculated is 12.4 instead?

关于这一点我们遵循的原则是四舍五入。

比如同学这里的举例，如果计算出来是12.6，那么就是需要13份合约；如果计算出来是12.4，那么就需要12份合约。

那么如果计算出来时12.48呢？注意不能说12.48四舍五入是12.5，然后再四舍五入就是13份了。我们只看小数点第一位，第一位是4.因此直接舍掉，所以还是需要12份。
