为什么用的是△y/y，而不是△Y/Y？

Hello，亲爱的同学~

△y/y是指人均GDP增长率，人均GDP增长率也就是劳动生产率。

△Y/Y是指总的GDP增长率。


本题公式为：

Growth rate of labor productivity= Growth rate of TFP+ Growth rate of capital deepening

Growth rate of labor productivity是人均，要用△y/y表示。


△y/y是labor productivity的growth rate而△Y/Y是Potential GDP的，那为什么不用大写的这个Y呢？

如果使用大写，则表示总的GDP增长率。

potential GDP增长率（△Y/Y） =  人均potential GDP增长率（△y/y）+ labor force growth rate
